Who we are
Rescue Security Ltd is responsible for the personal information covered by this notice. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 16943908, with our registered office at 1210a Stockport Rd, Manchester, United Kingdom, M19 2RA. Contact admin@rescuesecurity.co.uk or +44 7422 525814 about your information.
Information you share
Enquiries can include your name, company, email address, telephone number, site postcode, proposed dates and hours, and a description of the security cover you need. Follow-up correspondence may include quotation and service arrangements. Please keep initial enquiries to essential details and avoid sharing access codes, alarm instructions, sensitive itineraries or other people’s private information.
How the enquiry form works
The form prepares a brief in your browser. Reviewing it does not send it to us or save it in a website database. You choose to open an email or WhatsApp draft and send the message in that application. We receive the information when you send it. Your chosen email or messaging provider also handles the message under its own privacy terms.
Providing information for an initial enquiry is voluntary. The form asks for a name, email and requirement so we can understand and respond to your request; you can also contact us directly. The website does not make automated decisions about you or profile you.
Why we use it
- To discuss and quote for services: taking steps towards a contract you request, or our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries when you represent an organisation.
- To manage client correspondence and service arrangements: performing a contract, or our legitimate interest in administering business relationships.
- To protect the website, handle complaints and establish or defend claims: our legitimate interests in security and resolving disputes.
- To meet applicable record-keeping or disclosure duties: compliance with legal obligations.
Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing list.
Website connections and cookies
The website code does not add advertising pixels, analytics trackers or first-party cookies. Our hosting provider may process technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages, timestamps and browser details to deliver and protect the site. Fonts are hosted on this website; loading them does not connect your browser to Google Fonts.
Google Maps is not loaded until you choose “Load Google map” on the Home or Contact page. Choosing to load it connects to Google, which receives connection information and may use cookies. External links, including Google Maps and WhatsApp, take you to services with their own privacy and cookie practices. See Google’s privacy policy and WhatsApp’s privacy policy.
Who may receive information
Access is limited to people who need it to handle the enquiry or service. Information may be processed by hosting, email, communications and IT providers, and shared with professional advisers or authorities where necessary. We do not sell personal information. Provider services may involve processing outside the UK; where we arrange a restricted transfer, an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards are required. Contact us for details of safeguards relevant to your information.
How long we keep information
We assess retention according to whether an enquiry remains active, whether a quotation becomes a contract, and whether records are needed for accounts, complaints or legal claims. Information should be deleted or anonymised when these purposes no longer require it. Relevant records may be retained while a dispute or legal duty remains outstanding. Contact us about retention of a particular enquiry.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your information. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful use.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time. Email us using the contact details above. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing information.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK data protection regulator.
Security assignments and updates
This notice covers website visitors and business enquiries. CCTV footage, incident reports, visitor logs and other information handled during a security assignment depend on that site’s arrangements and the respective responsibilities of the client and Rescue Security. Ask the site operator or contact us for the notice relevant to that assignment. Recruitment information is outside this notice’s scope.
We update this notice when the website or our handling of information changes. The date above identifies the latest version.
